For 15 years, McDonald’s® has served as a sponsor of the ESSENCE Festival® presented by Coca-Cola®.

Our involvement with the Festival and the New Orleans community is one of the many ways we extend service into the areas we serve. Being deeply connected with our neighbors is a top priority for McDonald’s.

As a brand, McDonald’s is continuing to change for the better by bringing engaging activities to the Festival.

Attendees can visit our McDonald’s Black Forward Experience at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Friday, July 6 through Sunday, July 8, and enjoy live performances, samplings, interactive experiences and giveaways, including concert tickets and the renowned McDonald’s tote bag.

For the second year in a row, McDonald’s will host a late-night party, The Midnight Mix, on Saturday, July 7.

We’ll also host the 15th annual McDonald’s 365Black® Awards during Festival weekend. McDonald’s will celebrate female honorees who are changing the game every day. The 365Black Awards Luncheon is on Sunday, July 8 at the Ritz-Carlton.

McDonald’s has been dedicated neighbor in areas nationwide for more than 60 years. We are devoted to remaining Deeply Rooted in Your Community 365 days a year by honoring what’s important to our customers.

We look forward to another great Festival!
